Rhododendrons and Azaleas in Sarayama Settlement
Beautiful LandscapeOutdoor Activity
The Sarayama settlement is said to be the birthplace of Koishiwara Ware. About 10 potteries line the cobblestone streets, perfect for a walk. From late April to early May, rhododendrons bloom here and there in the village. In the Sarayama settlement in late April, you can also encounter colorful azaleas all over the mountain behind the 'Marudai Pottery'.
