Akizuki Castle Ruins

Beautiful LandscapeCulture & History
Akizuki Castle was built in 1623 and was inhabited by the feudal lord for over 200 years. A place with history. 'Kuromon Gate' (Black Gate) was the main gate of the castle, but now it has moved to the entrance of the shrine. The ruins of the castle have become a junior high school. It is a beautiful place all year round, but it is especially beautiful during the fall foliage season, which is entertaining to the viewer.
*The parking lot is a public parking lot (Akizuki Parking Lot Management Association)
